Purpose: Eat, drink, inject the produce of the "upper thigh".
Also, try to help others, unless they demonstrate they don't want help.
BA- Thruthful, not bashful.
i ask this because as a jw, you are programmed to think your only purpose is to preach the good news of the kingdom....period.
but more and more, i've noticed in my own life a strong pull toward something i won't elaborate on, but it has me thinking that maybe we really do each have a particular purpose and it's up to us to discover what it is.
i know i'm kind of new to the forum, but please let me know if any of you have experienced this same kind of unusually strong pull toward something you can't fully explain.

... an under the cabinet radio in the kitchen to easily turn on .
... having a mudroom .
FreeGirl2006,
If I told you, I'd have to kill you.
BA= Of the "enjoy it while it lasts" class.
PS- Alright, I admit it, the conveyor belt is, as of yet, inoperable.
if you could have been one of the apostles, would you have given up everything you have today to follow jesus?.
.
Yes, I can only hope so.
BA
PS- This is Jesus Christ, not Jesus Dominguez, we're talkin' bout, right?

Yes, for one- A remote controlled conveyor belt rigged from my fridge to wherever I may be to deliver the cold beverage of my liking.
A second- Servants to build such things as delight my every whim.
Thirdly- A cook to prepare dishes of my choosing.
Fourthly- A maid to clean such messes as I shall make.
BA- I find these mundane everyday trifles quite useful and rather amusing, if I must say.

an ex-jehovahs witnesses planted a seed of doubt by stating that she felt to be a good .
witness an individual had to be a conformist.
Numerous times, 3 off the top of my head:
1- When studying with a couple, they brought up "love feasts". Seemed silly at the moment, but when I researched it, I found the JWs lacking in love.
2- When studying with a man, he wanted to use the Bible instead of the publication (don't remember which one now) I said that would be a great idea, as I read the Bible avidly, but the PO I brought along actually discouraged it, saying we should stick to the publication!
3- When studying with another couple, I (having a Bachelor's in Engineering at the time) brought them (he had a Bachelor's in Biology) to the hall only to hear a Sunday talk in which the Public Speaker knew nothing about science, and it was apparent to me (embarrassed) and he (appalled), even though the talk was "riddled" with "science"!
BA- Many others I don't care to remember!
PS- Follow your conscience.
a few years back a bunch of brothers in the cong.
i was in would do all night field service.
they would drive all over the county, through 4 or 5 different cities hitting all the bus stops, all night laundromats, convenience stores, gas stations, etc.
Preachers of the night visiting gas stations,
Preaching in the night
What were the chances wed be placing tracts
Before the night was through.
Something in convenience stores was so inviting,
Something in laundromats was so exciting,
Something in bus stops,
Told me I must push TRUF.
Preachers of the night, two brainwashed people
We were Preachers of the night
Up to the moment
When we said our first hello.
Little did we know
Wasting the whole night away,
Placing unread magazines along the way and-
Ever since that night weve been together.
Mislead at first sight, brainwashed forever.
To the Governing Body’s delight,
Braindead Preachers of the night.
(Sung to the tune "Strangers in the night)

often i'm following someone into a building and entering the same door, and most of the times, the person in front won't even try to keep the door open so that it wont close in my face.
knowing that someone is right behind me, i'll even wait a second or two and hold the door open for that person.
i guess it has to do with being well educated.
I'm extremely polite. Excellent manners.
BA- Except when dealing with a**holes!
due to the current postings of 9/11 conspiracy theories, i googled why people believe conspiracy theories, and found this rather interesting article.
i am posting the link, and hope you enjoy it as much as i did.. .
Yes. However, it is important to make a distinction here.
All revealed conspiracies begin as a theory.
Just because a conspiracy theory is a theory doesn't make them all unsupported by the evidence.
Plus, there's a lot of money to be made publishing these conspiracy theories. Just another side of Capitalism.
BA- Thinks some Conspiracy Theories may have merit.
PS- Just because it's a conspiracy theory doesn't make it untrue. Due diligence in understanding the facts and assertions is called for.
